Aruba is located in the heart of the southern Caribbean, 15 miles (20 kilometers) off the coast of Venezuela. It is 19.6 miles (30 kilometers) long and 6 miles (9 kilometers) across, at its widest point, with an area of approximately 70 square miles (184 square kilometers).
Bonbini, in our native language of Papiamento, means "Welcome". Welcome to Aruba. The word is ours. But we like to think the meaning is universal. This is not the Caribbean as usual. This is Aruba! And if its true that opposites attract, then this could well be the most attractive island of them all.
from what i hear from the tourist is that Aruba is indeed one happy island.

San Nicolas use to be the town where all the party happens, it's still like that.
people form San Nicolas know how to party. there music is most of the time soca. in the cafe's you will mostly hear Colombian music like bachata,salsa,Spanish songs. San Nicolas is famous because of his culture ,the real arubian culture. you still can find it there. most of the people in San Nicolas speak English,papiamento,dutch and Spanish.
also in San Nicolas you will find Valero refinery from Aruba.

capital of Aruba where you can find anything from mc Donald to Chinese restaurants a 5 stars restaurant to a 5 stars disco where you can dance till late at night. also you will find al the hi-rise and lo-rise hotels. and you can do all the watersports you want.

carnival is the best time for the tourist to be on Aruba.

crime afcours Aruba has some crime but where do you not have it. only the crime-rate in Aruba is very low. you can walk and enjoy your self without being afraid that something will happen to you.
